PMDG Releses 777-300ER and SP1

The very talented folks and PMDG have outdone themselves yet again by bringing another magnificent product to market. Their 777 line is one of their most detailed and prototypical products to date and their newest release; the Boeing 777-300ER reflects just that. PMDG focuses heavily on the systems side of things when making their products as well as including a visually appealing aircraft and virtual cockpit to form a top notch product. In order to utilize the 777-300ER you must install Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Some Features to look for in SP1
  • WX Radar*
  • Data Uplink/Downlink system
  • Reworked Fly-By-Wire System
  • Optional Performance Enhancing Soundpack
  • Optional 5.1 Surround Sound Sound Pack
  • Taxi Camera (-300ER only)

*WX Radar only works with active sky next at this time

Carenado Releases Their Cirrus SR-22

After another successful Tuesday release we now have the Carenado SR-22 to populate our Flight Simulator skies. The SR-22 upholds the quality standards that Carenado puts into all of their products. It features the Carenado G1000 perspective navigation suite as well as a few new features such as window scratches lighting effects and dynamic propeller shine. As well as the realistic aircraft light rendering which has been seen on the newer Carenado fleet. This is defiantly an aircraft you want if you are into high performance fast propeller planes.

FSDream Team Releases Vancouver X

The long anticipated Vancouver scenery from FSDreamTeam has finally been released for purchase. This scenery has been in the works for over a year now as development started shortly after the release of their highly regarded Los Angeles scenery as well as GSX.

Vancouver features a number of unique features such as the new technology of Dynamic Shadows Technology or DST. As well as reflective rain puddles. This scenery definitely holds up to the ever improving standards of FSDreamTeam. I highly recommend checking it out.

Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport

Check out Ryan Whitford's latest creation, Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (KXNA). This is Ryan's second scenery and from what I can see, he has pulled out all the stops. The ground textures are high definition and include realistic taxiway markings as well as parking at the gates. There is a large hanger complex across from the main terminal area, complete with a FBO and Avionics facility. Ryan has also realistically modeled the taxiway signs and 3d runway & taxiway lights.

The night textures are very well done as well, this includes 3d taxi and approach lights.

I would highly recommend downloading this scenery as it is free you have nothing to loose. The scenery can be found on avsim by searching  Northwest Arkansas Regional  name.
